While trying to draw the 50's figure I remembered a way I used to doodle based on a 1950's sifi heroine, severely hourglass. I combined this with a more fashion drawing type of character and instantly felt that it was the right way to go with this brief. As I was unable to screenprint last time I thought that it would be quite good to this time. My plan is to have the same archetype model for the clothes and to have the corresponding hair and clothes for the time drawn on top. Though I'm a little concerned about how difficult I'm making this for myself as I'm wanting to do several different colour layers on top of the black lines.
This is the plan for how they will be set out in a long and thin strip, that I will get printed at A2.
