Finished Characters

I had an idea of how to tie them all together again but this required dropping three of the characters and just adding the cat character in as I still have no idea to its origins but still really like its distinctive face. So after whittling them down to 6 characters I set to work colouring them. I tried to colour them based off how I felt each character would look but after a while I realised that I was really leaning into the blues and yellows. After realising this I tried to explore other colours too and to make sure that the blues and yellows were different each time. I realise that I could have limited the colour palette and only worked in blues and yellows which would probably have made a better publication and would work more into the zines that I'm looking into but I felt that each of these characters are individual and have their own colouring. However I think I should look into limited colour for a zine in the future and that it would be good for me to not always work in full colour.
